How do you lose weight after you’ve plateaued
I’ve been on a low-carbohydrate diet (no noodles or breads or starchy foods) and I’ve lost a fair ammount of weight with that and exercise. But I’ve plateaued and my body’s grown used to the work outs. What can I do to get rid of the last ten pounds by labor day?

You’re body may be getting used to the exercise that you are doing. Change up your workout. Also, cut out sugar from your diet.

Ten pounds by Labor day is a little too fast; 1-2 lbs a week is recommended. Plateaus are common – perhaps you need to change up your workouts, and perhaps eat your largest meal at noon instead of in the evening. Do you drink the recommended 6-8 glasses of water per day? That will help flush the fat from the cells. Good Luck!!

I tried atkins once, and when I hit a plateau I cut my calories down. Also, are you keeping track of the percentage of fat protien and carbs you are eating i think the % you should be eating is 60% fat 30% protien, 10% carbs? Also, you might want to lower the protien but up the fat with olive oil. Do you use fitday.com it keps track of the percentages for you I mentioned above. It helps out a lot with any diet. Also, don’t eat/drink (crystal light, diet soda)anything with aspertine in it. It is a known staller.
