Quick and easy healthy diet low in carbohydrates?
Hey I was looking into some diets, and would like to know any quick and easy diets low in carbohydrates and saturated fats. I’m mainly looking into healthy vegetation diets. I looked into the south beach diet and bought the book but don’t really have the time to make the foods. Could you guys give me some other easier diets. Like just tell me the servings that I should have for each food group daily and what vitamins I should take if any; it’s hard to get all the essentials in a vegetarian diet. Thanks.

Why do people ask questions like that? Quick, easy, and healthy don’t go together. It’s as simple as that. Any worthwhile diet is gradual, and you have to put in at least a little work to keep a good balance, especially as a vegetarian. You should know this, if you’ve been one for long. Low carb diets are questionable, anyway, especially if you’re veg. At least you were looking at south beach, which is one of the better ones…
Rather than going for something like that, you should shoot for a normal, healthy, balanced diet. It’s easy enough to reduce your saturated fat and your calories a little, at least if you’re a good vegetarian. Beyond that, don’t place all the work on diet alone. Exercise is essential. If you can’t find the time to eat well and exercise, you won’t be able to maintain any weight loss you achieve, anyway.
