THE LOW CARB DIET IDEA?
I am on a low carb high protein plan and moderate fat…..
Since being on this diet i think I am seeing results when I look in the mirror. I don’t go over 50 – 60 grams of carbs a day but my protein in take is over 100.
The only time I chow down on very high carbs will be one day a week that is on sundays my "cheat day"
lemme get your guys opinions on this idea.

Cheat days are pointless. Its not helping the plan overall. If your gonna have a cheatday where you eat very high carbs, you may aswell not go over 20g of carbs a day on other days. Protein is good over 100, aslong as your using it in exercise at the gym or a jog or some sort of cardiovascular movement.
Get rid of your cheat day, or just consume less on that day. Even better, dont consider it a cheatday. Its a bad frame of mind to consider a cheatday, it should be like any other day.
Mind over body
Try hypnotism, you can download them off the net, and they have dedicated one for fatloss, where your mind is convinced that overeating is bad etc and itactually does yield results. Bodybuilders use it to get into their musclebuilding frame of mind. They also use it when they are cutting down and getting ready for competition.

Hey ya,
I’ve been on the paleo diet for like 6 weeks now.. No carbs apart from vegs and fruit.. I feel like i have leaned down alot and my performance in gym has peaked. how ever i tend to binge on almonds and dates because they are foods from the heavens. Not because i’m hungry. I jsut want them.
hmmm even on "cheat" days avoid the high carb stuff, there are alternatives. Can give u a few ideas such as
rubarb stewed apples and vanilla. Yum yum, there are some really good alternatives to pizza dough such as almond meal and flax meal. as well as cous cous.. try blitzed cauliflour.
If you are on paleo it shows the effects of carbs and why we don’t eat them or don’t need to eat them. Remember a diet is not limting yourself, it is being moderate. I only go no carbs because i also have a stomach prob.
Ps. of what i have read we are recommended to not go 300gs of protein a day, if you are training, maybe you can go over a little but be careful of protein poisoning. Not nice to have and may cause serious damage.
I think you are okay apart from the carb binge at the end of the week. keep at it!
